NeedConvert operates fundamentally differently from legacy conversion portals. All PDF manipulation, page merging, splitting, watermarking, password encryption, and unit calculations take place exclusively inside your web browser’s local memory utilizing WebAssembly. Your files are never uploaded to or stored on external remote servers.
2. Information We Collect
When you register for an optional account, we store your username, email address, and encrypted password hash in our secure MySQL database solely to manage session state, developer API access keys, and your voluntary personal conversion logs.
3. GDPR and ISO 27001 Alignment
Because files are processed within your client environment, no personally identifiable information (PII) contained within documents is transmitted over the wire. You retain 100% ownership and control over your intellectual property and sensitive corporate documentation.
